Pop Singer Hayley Williams was born in Meridian on December 27. She met her bandmates at her new school after she moved from Mississippi to Tennessee. The Factory, a local funk band in her small Tennessee town, was the first group she ever tried out for.

She dated Paramore’s guitarist Josh Farro for three years. She got engaged to New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert in December of 2014. The two married on February 20, 2016.

She had a cross tattooed on her thigh as a sign of her Christian beliefs, which influenced her #1 2013 album, Paramore. She is joined in Paramore by guitarist Taylor York.
