Model Dylan Penn was born in Los Angeles on April 13. Before beginning her acting and modeling careers, she lived in New York City and worked as a waitress, advertising agency intern, pizza delivery girl, and editor. She is the older sister of Hopper Jack Penn. The siblings were raised in Marin County, California.

She and Poppy Delevingne acted together in a Julia Restoin Roitfeld-directed short film that served as an advertisement for the Stuart Weitzman shoe brand. In 2015, she appeared in three films: Unfiltered, Elvis & Nixon, and Condemned. She briefly dated Twilight star Robert Pattinson.
