At age sixteen, she competed in the U.S. Championships in junior ice dancing. She finished in the top twenty. Tried out for the role of Buffy, which went to Sarah Michelle Gellar in Buffy the Vampire Slayer; but she did get a small role playing the vampire Darla on the show.
