Reality Star Laura Govan was born in Oakland on September 21. She was hit by a drunk driver when she was just seven years old. She remained in a coma for three months, and upon awaking, had to relearn everything from walking to talking.

She and Gilbert had four kids together named Aloni, Hamiley, Alijah and Izela. She was born in Oakland, California and has sisters named Gloria and Lonnie.

She was a basketball player in high school, averaging 30 points per game. She earned a full-ride scholarship to New Mexico State University where she earned a Master’s Degree in Sports Psychology on top of her BA in International Business. Her sister Gloria Govan previously dated Matt Barnes.
