Ruby Rose was born in Melbourne on March 20 and now she is featured here. She rose to prominence after finishing as runner-up in the 2002 Girlfriend Magazine Model Search.

Born Ruby Rose Langenheim, she grew up in Melbourne, Australia as the daughter of visual artist and single mother Katia Langenheim. An open lesbian since the age of twelve, Ruby Rose became engaged to Phoebe Dahl in early 2014 but they split in December of 2015. Previously, in 2010, she and fellow Australian model Catherine McNeil were briefly engaged.

She created a YouTube channel in late 2010 and, by early 2015, had nearly 27,000 subscribers and over 2,000,000 individual views. She became a cast member on season 3 of the Netflix series Orange is the New Black, starring Taylor Schilling.
